Program Overview

The Mechanical Computer-Aided Design (MCAD) AAS program at Green River College equips students with technical skills in drafting and CAD to support engineers in design and development projects. The curriculum covers principles of mechanics, design testing, rapid prototyping, and 3D printing, and students gain proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Solidworks, and Mastercam. Graduates are prepared for careers in mechanical and industrial engineering, supporting professionals in the design and development of mechanical systems.
