Information Technology-Foundations Certificate
Program Overview
The Information Technology Foundations certificate prepares students for entry-level IT roles by providing foundational knowledge in Python, IT hardware and software, and Internet protocols. The program requires a grade of 2.5 or higher in all courses and includes core requirements in Introduction to Information Technology, IT and Cybersecurity Essentials, and Fundamentals of IPv4 and IPv6.

Degree Overview:
The Information Technology Foundations certificate is designed to prepare students to enter the IT field by addressing foundational technical concepts that are foundational for the IT field such as the introduction to the Python language, an overview of IT hardware and software and the fundamentals of Internet Protocols and addressing. Students must earn a grade of 2.5 or higher on all courses in this program. All of the courses required for this certificate apply towards the Cybersecurity and Networking, AAS-T.
