Program Overview

The Medical Assistant Phlebotomy Certificate program trains students to meet the requirements for the Washington State Department of Health Medical Assistant Phlebotomy certificate. The program covers basic anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, ethical and legal considerations, safety measures, infection control, and phlebotomy techniques. Upon completion, students are eligible to take the national board exam and pursue careers as Medical Assistants specializing in Phlebotomy in various healthcare settings.
