Program Overview

The Wastewater Technology-Municipal Wastewater Treatment Technology Certificate program prepares students for entry-level positions in municipal wastewater treatment facilities. The program includes courses in water hydraulics, pumps and pumping systems, utility worker safety, disinfection and chemical feed systems, drawings and manuals, water and wastewater electrical, municipal wastewater treatment, and wastewater laboratory. Students can also choose one course from a selection of computer and technology-related options.
