The Bachelor of Data Science (Professional) provides you with the theoretical and practical skills to succeed in this rapidly growing industry. This degree comprises three years of study followed by a one-year industry internship in the final year of study, organized with the assistance of the School of Computing Technologies. Applicants with recent secondary education must have a study score of at least 20 in Maths: General Mathematics, Maths: Mathematical Methods, or Maths: Specialist Mathematics. They should also have completed Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) with an overall average of at least 75%. Applicants with vocational education and training (VET) studies can get entry to this program if their highest qualification is a completed Year 12 and they provide proof of relevant work experience or training. International students are also eligible to apply for this program. They must provide proof of English language proficiency, such as an IELTS score of 6.5 or above.

Applicants whose first language is not English must have an IELTS score of 6.5 or above.
