Degree Overview:
The program provides students with specialized training and advanced skills in geospatial sciences. Students will receive expert supervision and develop their analytical and problem-solving abilities through research investigations in key areas such as cartography and visualization, earth observation and unmanned aerial systems, 3D building modeling, digital twins, augmented reality (AR), geodesy, land management and governance, GeoAI, GIS, machine learning, geoinformatics, remote sensing, laser sensing, aerial surveying, satellite positioning, multi-GNSS positioning, GNSS ionosphere sensing, space weather and its effects on GNSS, visual positioning systems, indoor localization, and hydrographic surveying.
Teaching:
The program is structured to support students' completion of a compulsory research methods course, training in research integrity and ethics, and electives in qualitative and quantitative research techniques. Students will conduct a thesis/project that demonstrates their contributions to the field, ability to communicate complex research to peers, and international standards for the community.
Careers:
