The Nursing Education Certificate Program is designed to provide advanced skills for practice as a Nurse Educator and to prepare students to sit for the NLN Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) Exam.

Admission Policy
Participants must comply with The Byers School of Nursing Graduate admission requirements, which include:
- Minimum 3.0 GPA from an accredited undergraduate institution
- Official transcript(s) of undergraduate and all other graduate study, indicating a MSN degree from an accredited school of nursing
- Current resume
- Two Letters of Recommendation from individuals in a Supervisor role of the applicant
- A 1000-word essay that addresses academic and career goals, personal and professional attributes, and how the Post-Master's Nurse Educator Certificate will help realize those goals
- A current unencumbered Registered Nurse license
Program Delivery
The program is offered using a distance learning methodology, with face-to-face classroom experiences held at the main campus in conjunction with online methods.
