Program Learning Outcomes:

Upon completion of the Animation & Illustration BFA program, students are expected:

  • Master fundamental principles and techniques in both 2D and 3D animation, including storyboarding and character development
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the history and evolution of the art of storytelling and illustration
  • Acquire expertise in industry standard animation and illustration hardware, software, and methodologies

Program Requirements

  • Students are required to maintain an overall GPA of at least 3.0 in all their major- related coursework.
  • Those who fail to meet this GPA for consecutive semesters may have their degree requirements adjusted from BFA (Bachelor of Fine Art) to BA in Design Studies.

University Graduation Requirements:

Students are expected to meet all the requirements set by the University, which include unit, GPA, and residence requirements, as well as specific GE, AI ( American institutions), GWAR( Graduation Writing Assessment) and PE ( Physical Education) mandates.
