Program Overview

The Behavioral Science program at San José State University offers an interdisciplinary perspective on human behavior, equipping graduates with an understanding of the psychological, social, and cultural dimensions of being human. The program consists of 48 units of major requirements, including core courses, statistics, methods, and coursework in anthropology, psychology, and sociology. Graduates are prepared for careers in fields such as human resources, social work, counseling, sales and marketing, and law enforcement.
