Program Overview

The Master of Science in Biological Sciences with a concentration in Molecular Biology and Microbiology trains students in rigorous scientific investigation, focusing on molecular mechanisms underlying biological processes. The program includes core courses in graduate seminar, graduate studies in biology, science communication, and graduate research. Students also complete concentration courses in advanced molecular techniques, advanced genetics, and advanced topics in molecular and microbiology, along with electives and a culminating experience (thesis or project).
