Program Overview

This TESOL program provides a foundation in linguistics, including core courses in introduction to linguistics, patterns of English, second language development, and sociolinguistics. Students also select two elective courses with the approval of the TESOL Coordinator. The program prepares individuals for careers in teaching English to speakers of other languages.
