This credential is available to students who show evidence of competency in conducting counseling/therapy in Spanish through coursework or examination. There are two ways of obtaining the credential: Taking SCWK 224, an elective course that uses cultural, linguistic competencies, and social work skills to deliver services to Latino client systems. Taking an exam offered near the time of graduation.
