Program Overview

BCIT's Perinatal Nursing Specialty program provides registered nurses with an Advanced Certificate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing Specialty Nursing. The part-time, distance learning program emphasizes patient empowerment, technical expertise, and communication skills. Students complete clinical experiences in their communities and have the option to choose from elective courses in areas such as pelvic exams and sexual health rehabilitation.
