Program Overview

BCIT's Perioperative Nursing program combines e-learning with hands-on training for registered nurses with industry sponsors. The program includes required courses in perioperative theory and clinical practice, as well as core management and liberal studies components. Graduates are prepared for advanced roles in perioperative nursing, including scrub nurse, circulating nurse, and management positions.
