Public and Private Investigation

Program Overview

This program develops analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills in investigation. Students gain hands-on experience through a field placement and are eligible to apply for provincial licenses in private investigation and security. Graduates are prepared for careers in asset protection, loss prevention, public safety, and more.

• The program hones skills in analysis, communication, information gathering, interviewing, issue identification, researching and problem solving.
• Students learn to use technology to present investigative findings, and they're introduced to key professional skills and industry best practices.
