Program Overview

Sheridan College's Technical Production for the Performing Arts Industry program is a three-year Ontario College Advanced Diploma that provides comprehensive training in all aspects of technical production for live performances. Students gain proficiency in carpentry, lighting, sound, stage management, wardrobe, props, and scene paint, developing critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration skills essential in the industry. The program culminates in a field placement and capstone project, preparing graduates for careers in theatre, events, film and television, and other industries.
