Program Overview

The Bridge Watch program prepares students for multiple roles aboard vessels by providing academic skills, marine safety training, sea experience, and hands-on training. Upon completion, students can take the Transport Canada's Bridge Watchman exam to qualify for employment as deckhands in the marine industry. The program includes 16 weeks of in-class instruction, 60 days of sea placement, and three weeks of marine safety training.
