Program Overview

Hawaii Pacific University's Biology program offers three concentrations: Conservation, Ecology, and Evolution; General Biology; and Human and Health Sciences. The program emphasizes hands-on learning through small classes, extensive lab work, and faculty-led research projects. Graduates are prepared for careers in various biological fields, including wildlife biology, biotechnology, and health professions. The program also incorporates Pacific connections and indigenous history into its curriculum.
