Overview The two-year, English-taught Master's in Business Information Technology at the University of Twente (UT) equips graduates to become experts in IT-based business innovation, enabling them to devise new services and radically improve business operations through the strategic application of IT. Objectives Upon completion of the program, graduates will possess:

• A thorough understanding of complex business processes and organizations
• In-depth knowledge of modern information systems and their underlying technologies
• Expertise in areas such as IT architecture, IT-based business models, enterprise security, smart industry, data-driven decision support systems, and IT management
_Program Description_ The Master's in Business Information Technology provides a well-rounded education at the intersection of business management and IT. The program begins with foundational coursework that establishes a solid base in both disciplines. Students then specialize in one of two tracks: Data Science and Business or Enterprise Architecture & IT Management. Throughout the program, students engage in hands-on, project-based learning experiences that simulate real-world business challenges. They collaborate with industry partners on research projects, giving them the opportunity to apply their knowledge to practical problems and build valuable connections. The program culminates in a master's thesis, in which students conduct in-depth research on a topic of their choice, demonstrating their ability to independently analyze, interpret, and solve complex IT-related business problems.
