Overview

This course is for anyone using bench-mounted and hand-held electrical abrasive wheels. It complies with the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1999 and Management of Health & Safety Regulations 1998.

This course covers:

• hazards and risks
• handling and storage
• wheel selection and mounting
• guards and safe operation

Upon completion, a Certificate of Attendance will be issued.

• Bookings of up to 6 people: £500

Entry Requirements

We are governed by Health and Safety Executive (HSE) regulations; therefore, candidates will not be allowed to start the course without wearing steel toe-capped boots or shoes, gloves, and suitable protective clothing that provides full cover for arms and legs. We strongly recommend also wearing a high-visibility vest.

We have limited equipment and PPE (personal protective equipment); therefore, you are advised to bring your own eye protection, portable angle grinder, and discs.
