Overview
This course is aimed at farmers, managers, fitters, foremen, and workers who are required to use abrasive wheels or supervise their use. It is designed to comply with the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1999 and Management of Health & Safety Regulations 1998.

This course is approved by Lantra Awards and is aimed at farmers, managers, fitters, foremen, and workers who are required to use abrasive wheels or supervise their use. The instructor/student ratio is 1:6.

This course is for farmers, managers, fitters, foremen, and workers who use bench-mounted, hand-held electrical and engine-driven abrasive wheels or supervise their use.

- Standard fee: £275
- Bookings of up to 6 people: £1,400
Entry Requirements
We are governed by Health and Safety Executive (HSE) regulations; therefore, candidates will not be allowed to start the course without wearing steel toe-capped boots or shoes, gloves, and suitable protective clothing that provides full cover for arms and legs. We strongly recommend also wearing a high-visibility vest.
We have limited equipment and PPE (personal protective equipment); therefore, you are advised to bring your own eye protection, portable angle grinder, and discs.
