Brickwork in the Garden

Overview

Gain valuable skills in basic bricklaying techniques. This practical, one-day course covers topics including setting out and constructing a simple corner, and laying bricks in a line.


Full Description

Our course offers instruction and demonstrations. It's a hands-on course which involves lifting and transporting heavy objects, as well as the use of mortars.


Who Should Attend?

This course is open to all. You do not need to have previous experience of bricklaying.

Entry Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements, however you're required to wear work clothes suitable for the weather including sturdy footwear (preferably steel-toe capped) and gloves.


The course involves lifting and transporting heavy objects, as well as the use of mortars. Any prior back injuries must be declared.


By making a booking you are declaring yourself medically fit to participate in the course.
