Program Overview
Equine Anatomy
Overview
This course is designed to help students brush up on their equine anatomy before their clinical studies year or for their exams. It is also suitable for those in practice who feel that some revision would help their clinical reasoning.
Full Description
Using fun activities and lots of practice on the live horse, we will be taking a deep dive into all things bony, muscular and neurological. Knowledge of anatomy is essential to being a successful musculoskeletal therapist; enhancing clinical reasoning skills and enabling better results. We focus on improving your anatomical knowledge and giving you a new depth of understanding. If your final exams are still in front of you, it will give you much more confidence to pass the anatomy section with flying colours!
Tutors
This four-day course will be run by experienced practicing veterinary physiotherapists and qualified tutors:
- Rhian Williams (PGDip Vet Phys, FHEA)
- Marigold Thompson (PGDip Vet Phys, PGCert Higher Education Practice)
