Overview
A full day of simulated practice for FY1, FY2 doctors and Band 5-7 nurses.
Full Description
This course features:
- a systematic approach to the recognition, assessment and initial management of acutely ill adult patients, with emphasis on ABCDE
- reinforcement of important aspects of patient safety
- introduction and overview to human factors and their importance in good clinical care.

FOCUS is facilitated by our experienced simulation Faculty from Southend University Hospital, NHS Foundation Trust and Mid Essex Hospital Services NHS Trust.

- Two courses are run every month
- MEHT/Basildon/Colchester FY1/FY2 doctors will be allocated places in advance; acute care nurses £150 (funded places may be available via your trust).
