Lunging for Beginners

Overview

This course is designed for people who require basic knowledge of the correct method of lunging. It's also beneficial for owners of small ponies as a means of keeping them fit. After you complete it you'll be able to prepare and lunge a horse for exercise.

This course is designed for people who require basic knowledge of the correct method of lunging. It's also beneficial for owners of small ponies as a means of keeping them fit. After you complete it you'll be able to prepare and lunge a horse for exercise.


The training also provides a Coach Endorsement opportunity for those undertaking BHS (British Horse Society) Stage 2. If you meet the criteria your BHS Equine Excellence Skills Record will be signed.


The instructor/student ratio is 1:12.


Who Should Attend?

This programme is designed for people (over age 14) who require basic knowledge of the correct lunging method, enabling them to prepare and lunge a horse for exercise.

Entry Requirements

You must be over 14 to join this course (parental consent will be required).


Please come appropriately dressed for an equine yard with an approved riding hat, gloves and boots.


By making a booking you are declaring yourself medically fit to participate in the course.
