Overview
Our course will give you all you need to know about tracheostomies, through interactive lectures, small group workshops and high fidelity simulation.
Full Description
The course features:
- Interprofessional learning in our high-fidelity simulation suite
- Rehearse your clinical skills as part of the multiprofessional team, with feedback in a supportive learning environment
- Tracheostomy emergencies
- National Tracheostomy Safety Project algorithms and techniques
- Emergency Cricothyroidotomy and Surgical Airway
Suitable for:
- ENT/Maxfax nurses
- Anaesthetists/Intensivists
- Operating department practitioners (ODPs)
Course Director: Dr Natasha Lawrence, Consultant in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care, Mid Essex Hospital Services, NHS Trust.
TracheTIPS is approved by the Royal College of Anaesthetists for five CPD credits
