Program Overview

This course will teach students how to recognize, prevent, and alleviate food safety hazards in food businesses. Upon successful completion, students may have the opportunity to progress into other qualifications or programs with ASMI. The course is offered in three delivery models: Classroom Based, Online Based, and RPL. Students must successfully complete both units in order to achieve this short course: SITXFSA001 Use hygienic practices for food safety and SITXFSA002 Participate in safe food handling practices.
