Overview

This course will allow students to develop their writing and reading skills and write moderately complex texts related to their profession. They will become familiar with the characteristics of several technical and professional texts in order to produce them. They will learn reading and writing strategies and use digital tools to improve their writing skills. They will also develop their reading comprehension skills. Learners will become competent readers and writers so that they can make use of their bilingualism in the labour market now and in the future. The student may reach level 8 of the CLB / NCLC Benchmark


Admission Requirements

You may enroll in a Continuing Education course at Canadore College if you are 19 years of age or older or if you have earned an Ontario Secondary School Diploma/Ontario Secondary School Graduation Diploma or equivalent.
