Introduction to MasterCAM
Overview
This course will introduce students to the MasterCAM application and its relation to manual CNC programming. Students will learn to use the manual programming attributes, read Fanuc code in relation to MasterCAM, calculate feeds and speeds for a machine, and use manual g-code and m-code. This course will focus on 2-dimensional geometry creation tool pathing and 3-axis machining using MasterCAM.
Admission Requirements
You may enroll in a Continuing Education course at Canadore College if you are 19 years of age or older or if you have earned an Ontario Secondary School Diploma/Ontario Secondary School Graduation Diploma or equivalent.

What You Need
Most college level courses require textbooks; textbooks are not included in the course fees. It is the student’s responsibility to purchase any required textbooks.
