Leadership in Health Care Administration

Overview

This course outline is used with the permission of St. Lawrence College and is the basis for HCA 5033 – Leadership in Health Care. This course will provide an introduction to the theories and practices of effective health care leadership. Students will apply theory and research skills to explore and resolve organizational challenges and support strategic goals. Students will explore the impact of leadership on decision-making, ethics, human relations, and organizational culture.

Admission Requirements

You may enroll in a Continuing Education course at Canadore College if you are 19 years of age or older or if you have earned an Ontario Secondary School Diploma/Ontario Secondary School Graduation Diploma or equivalent.
