Program Overview

The Education Assistance and Inclusion Certificate program at Douglas College equips students with specialized skills to support individuals with disabilities. The program emphasizes inclusive education principles and provides hands-on experience through supervised workplace practicums. Students learn about human development, characteristics of exceptionalities, teaching and learning strategies, communication support, and personal assistance. The program can be completed full-time or part-time, with flexible class options available.
