Program Overview

The Area Studies - Middle East and North Africa Minor at Eastern Michigan University is a 20-hour program that provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the Middle East and North Africa region. The program includes required courses in economics, political science, and history, as well as a variety of elective courses in anthropology, geography, history, and religious studies. The minor is designed to prepare students for careers in government, business, education, and non-profit organizations.
