Program Overview

The Pharmacy Technician program at Fanshawe College equips students with the knowledge and skills to work in various healthcare settings. The program covers topics such as pharmaceutical products, pharmacy practice, and sterile and non-sterile product preparation. Students gain practical experience through field placements and are assessed through exams, assignments, and practical assessments. Graduates are eligible to work as pharmacy technicians in community, hospital, and long-term care pharmacies.
