Program Overview
The Certificate in Diversional Therapy and Community Health is a 76-80 week program that provides students with the knowledge and skills to work in community health. The program consists of four semesters, with each semester lasting 15 weeks plus 3 break weeks. Students are required to attend 20 hours of face-to-face delivery per week and complete a minimum of 10 hours of self-directed study per week. The program also includes 15 weeks of clinical placement. Graduates of the program will be able to work in the following areas: Diversional Therapist, Recreational Therapist, Activities Officer, Aged or Disabled Care Worker, Special Care Worker.
