Program Overview

Duquesne University's Clinical Mental Health Counseling program prepares students for licensure as professional counselors. The CACREP-accredited program can be completed in two years or part-time, providing students with the knowledge and skills to work effectively in mental health settings. Graduates are successful in obtaining employment as therapists, substance abuse counselors, and more. The program emphasizes experiential learning and has a large alumni base of over 1,200 graduates.
