Program Overview

The World Literatures minor at Duquesne University fosters cultural understanding through the study of diverse literary traditions from around the globe. It complements various majors and enhances study abroad experiences, providing students with a deeper appreciation of different cultures and perspectives. The minor explores literatures from regions such as South/Latin America, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East.
