Program Overview

This program prepares students for teacher certification in New Jersey by combining a liberal arts or science major with 30 credits in education courses, including 15 graduate-level methodology courses. The program culminates in a 2-semester student teaching experience, and upon completion, students are eligible for both the MAT degree and their NJ State Teaching Certificate. Teacher certification requires additional coursework in behavioral sciences and biology/physiology/health.
