Program Overview

The Justice Studies, Criminology Concentration, BS + Justice Studies, MS program at San José State University is a Spartan Accelerated Graduate Education (SAGE) Scholars Program that allows qualified students to simultaneously complete both the baccalaureate and master's degrees in a shorter amount of time. Students in this program can earn both a bachelor's degree in Justice Studies with a concentration in Criminology and a Master of Science in Justice Studies. The program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the criminal justice system, from theory to practice, with a focus on criminological theory, research methods, and social and public policy.
