Introduction to the Bachelor of Education
The Bachelor of Education is a comprehensive program designed to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and practices necessary to become effective teachers. This program is accredited by the Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) and recognized by the Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority (ACEQA) for the Primary Education/Early Childhood Education double major.
Program Structure
The Bachelor of Education requires the completion of 320 credit points, comprising 80 credit points of core courses and either 240 credit points for one major from Primary Education or 240 credit points for one major from Secondary Education.

Secondary Education Major
For Secondary Education, students learn the knowledge and skills to teach students through years 7 to 12 and can choose to undertake studies in two teaching areas or the Learning Support major and one teaching area. Teaching areas include Biology, Chemistry, Design Technology, Digital Technologies, Drama, English, Food and Nutrition, Geography, History, Health and Physical Education, Learning Support, Mathematics, Physics, Psychology, and Visual Arts.

Admission Requirements
- Academic entry requirements apply to International applicants for undergraduate programs.
