  • In addition to the Judaic Studies and General Education requirements, the education coursework for the additional major in education consists of 46 semester hours.
  • The program is divided into three levels:
  • Level I
  • includes Principles and Foundations of Education, Health and Safety Education, Children’s Literature, and Education Through the Arts.
  • Level II
  • includes Cognitive and Language Development, Moral Education, Educational Psychology, Differentiated Instruction, and Survey of Exceptional Children.
  • Level III
  • includes Assessment of Behavior and Learning, Computer Applications and Technology in Education, Methods of Teaching Language Arts and Writing, Methods of Teaching Literacy, Methods of Teaching Mathematics, Methods of Teaching Social Studies, Methods of Differentiated Instruction in Science, and Classroom Management.
  • The program culminates in a capstone course, Student Teaching.
