Program Overview
The AAS in Nursing program at NYSCAS prepares students for New York State RN licensure. The program provides a foundation in liberal arts and sciences, along with a core health sciences curriculum. Graduates will be qualified to take the NCLEX-RN exam and enter the profession of nursing. The program includes courses in human anatomy and physiology, nursing fundamentals, health assessment, medical-surgical nursing, mental health nursing, and maternal child nursing.

The Associate in Applied Science (AAS) in Nursing program at New York School of Career and Applied Studies (NYSCAS) prepares students for New York State RN licensure.
