The Occupational Therapy Program at Touro College is a full-time program that includes both didactic and clinical components. Students will take courses in areas such as anatomy, physiology, occupational therapy theory and practice, and clinical skills. Students will also complete fieldwork experiences in a variety of settings, including hospitals, schools, clinics, and community centers. The program is designed to be flexible and accessible to students with a variety of backgrounds. Students can apply to the program with or without a bachelor's degree. Students who do not have a bachelor's degree will need to complete 60 credits of prerequisite coursework before they can begin the OT program. Graduates of the Occupational Therapy Program at Touro College are eligible to sit for the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) examination to receive OTR® certification and become certified occupational therapists.
