Program Overview

New York Medical College's Doctor of Physical Therapy (D.P.T.) program is a three-year, cohort-based program that prepares students for a variety of physical therapy careers. The program's curriculum meets CAPTE standards and includes coursework in anatomy, physiology, and physical therapy theory and practice, as well as 1,200 hours of clinical experience. Graduates are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and critical thinking abilities necessary to excel in the field of physical therapy.
