Students will develop their listening skills, learn about producing for specific genres, and explore techniques for getting the best performance from artists. The program also covers budgeting, arrangement, vocal production, and the differences between mixing and engineering.

  • Budgeting for record production
  • Arrangement techniques
  • Key vocal production techniques for main and background vocals
  • Difference between producing a mix and engineering a mix
  • Different style of mixes before mastering
