Program Overview

This non-major program introduces students to experimental techniques in microbiology, focusing on cultivating and characterizing bacteria. Through group work and hands-on laboratory experiments, students gain an understanding of microbial growth, light microscopy, and quantitative techniques essential for microbiological and biochemical processes. The program is transferable for UC credit and is offered in a hybrid (in-person) format during the Spring 2024 semester.
