Program Overview

This UCLA Extension course, Memoir I, is designed to help writers identify and structure significant moments from their lives into a book-length memoir. Through in-class writing exercises and readings of successful memoirs, students will establish habits and tools for effective writing and complete an outline and draft of several chapters.
