Program Overview

UCLA Extension's Television Development course empowers aspiring TV professionals with the knowledge and skills to develop their ideas into compelling pitches. Led by industry expert Stephanie Varella, the program covers the entire development process, from assessing the market to pitching to industry guests. Participants gain practical experience through lectures, discussions, and exercises, preparing them for careers in TV development as producers, executives, directors, and writers.
