Program Overview

This course is part of the UCLA Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Science (HSSEAS) Master of Science in Engineering Online (MSOL) program. It reviews matrix force and displacement methods of structural analysis, virtual work theorem, virtual forces, and displacements, theorems on stationary value of total and complementary potential energy, minimum total potential energy, Maxwell/Betti theorems, effects of approximations, and introduces finite element analysis.
