The Design IV: Capstone course is a thesis-oriented capstone course that allows Design Communication Arts students to put all they've learned into action to tackle real-world design projects in the civic realm. The course emphasizes public presentation, collaboration, observation, research, and problem-solving skills.

The prerequisites for the Design IV: Capstone course are all core design courses or departmental approval.
