This course is open to trainees of UCLA School of Dentistry's Post DDS Certificate programs only.


Course Objectives

Our graduates will:


  • Develop a strong knowledge base in the physical and biological aspects of imaging sciences, relevant to the practice of oral and maxillofacial radiology
  • Proficiently design and interpret diagnostic imaging studies of the oral and maxillofacial region
  • Critically evaluate the oral and maxillofacial radiology literature
  • Become effective teachers and speakers on the principles and applications of oral and maxillofacial radiology
  • Participate in original research projects and scholarly activities
