This course is open to trainees of UCLA School of Dentistry's Post DDS Certificate programs only.
Course Objectives
Our graduates will:
- Develop a strong knowledge base in the physical and biological aspects of imaging sciences, relevant to the practice of oral and maxillofacial radiology
- Proficiently design and interpret diagnostic imaging studies of the oral and maxillofacial region
- Critically evaluate the oral and maxillofacial radiology literature
- Become effective teachers and speakers on the principles and applications of oral and maxillofacial radiology
- Participate in original research projects and scholarly activities
